Ahimsa — The Practice of Non-Harming

Practice Period (PP) dates include the following components:

  • Sesshin — February 29 - March 3, 2024 (Sesshin capacity has been reached but stay tuned for updates.)

  • Ahimsa - The Practice of Non-Harming — Every Sunday, 9:00 AM, March 10 - May 12.
    PDT Pacific Daylight Time.

    • 9:00 AM - Tea & Discussion

    • 9:50 AM - Zazen

    • 10:10 AM - 11:00 AM Hiding a Heron Class (open ended to June 30)

  • Hiding a Heron in the Moonlight — class continues ongoing throughout PP. (No meeting on March 3rd during sesshin.)

Suggested Donation - No one is turned away from MBZC for lack of funds.

The three components of the Practice Period each have their own suggested donation scale and those suggestions can be found in the links to the components above.
PP Tea and Discussion donations are suggested at $200 for all 10 weeks and $100 for those with limited income. Donation links specific to PP are available in the activity catalog. The links will remain active thereafter for contributions.
